I adore  a tight fitting dress from Zara that I bought the other day but there is absolutely nowhere to hide in it - it clings to pretty much every lump and bump but with the Playtex Objective 1 Size Down High Waist Long Leg magic pants, I don't even need to think about anything, they suck everything in and give me the perfect figure! 

I have tried suck you in pants before but I have to say, these are without doubt the absolute best ones I have tried. They are really comfortable (so much so that I forget I have them on), they don't roll down or dig in and, as long as your clothes cover them, they are entirely undetectable. Perfect. They are also great under leggings.

CARING FOR YOUR BRA

The bra is intricately constructed to support and often uses delicate or specialist fabrics. Taking care of your bra will ensure it keeps its shape and structure longer.

CAN I MACHINE WASH MY BRA?

Manufacturers normally recommend that you hand wash a bra as a machine can cause damage. We’d advise that you follow the manufacturer’s care instructions to avoid:

• the underwire coming loose and damaging your machine
• the foam moulding of a t-shirt bra becoming crumpled
• the fastening damaging stitching or delicates
• If you do use a washing machine, we recommend using a laundry bag and setting a delicate, low temperature cycle.

CAN MY BRA BE TUMBLE DRIED?

No, even on a low heat setting this would damage any elastane in the fabric. Any padding would be likely to wrinkle or shrink.

ANY TIPS FOR HAND WASHING MY BRA?

Use cold water and a detergent designed for delicates. Drip dry, do not wring out. Delicate and synthetic fabrics tend to dry quite quickly.

HOW SHOULD I STORE MY BRAS?

Storing your lingerie properly will help keep it looking good for longer. T-shirt bras need special attention: you can fold them in half and put one cup inside the other, or stack them side by side, but whatever you do, take care not to dent the cup shape by stuffing them into a drawer. Make extra room by folding your non moulded underwired bras in the centre and stacking them vertically one next to the other.

Lucy balcony bra from Cleo by Panache

A good balcony bra can be a lifesaver in terms of lift, shaping, and support while still managing to be comfortable for long days, and after hearing positive reviews of the Lucy balcony bra from Cleo by Panache.

As you can see from the picture, the Cleo 'Lucy' is a non-padded underwired balconette with a three sectioned cup and fully adjustable shoulder straps. This little beauty is primarily made of doubled-lined mesh, with single mesh panels along the top of the cups. The benefit of having two layers of mesh on the cups, is the added support and superior shape that it gives. Unlike some mesh bras (which can give a slightly pointy look), the 'Lucy' lends to a lovely rounded, yet natural shape. 

Size-wise, the 'Lucy' fits well and feels very comfortable - the under-band feels very snug, which is something that I love about Panache bras and the centre gore sits flush against the chest without digging in. An unpadded bra that gives a nice rounded and uplifted shape is hard to come by, so I was impressed with the shape that the 'Lucy' gives. 

The Cleo 'Lucy' is a great everyday bra and its floral detailing are sure to make you feel every bit the girly girl! Above all, I am pleased with the firmness of the band and the lovely shape and support that the 'Lucy' provides. Thanks to Panache, this bra and knicker set will definitely have you feeling pretty! x
